Getting Started with Booking
Before your visit, we’d love to match you with who’s best suitable for your service. You can go to contacts and send a front and back picture of your current hair in natural light. Then send a couple of your inspiration. I will email you within a couple days to get your booking started.
Pricing is our biggest question. You’re going to find our pricing a little different. Colours have changed over the years to involve many steps to achieve the Pinterest inspirations we see.
We have a variety of stylists with varying years of service and experience. This is the first factor in determining pricing. You’ll see the starting pricing with each level of stylist on our booking system. On our services page, you’ll see the full range from lowest to highest listed.
Next, each block of time will be the starting price and the colour products we use will be added to it. This will allow fair pricing for all types of hair and what’s needed to properly colour hair long or short, thick or thin.
FAQ
If you are already light and need a refresh, we can do that in one appointment.
If you are darker, specially black, and wanting to get really light, it could take 2-3 appointments.
If you are light and want to go dark, it’s a two step process we can do in one appointment.
If you are wanting vivid colours, we need to lighten the hair before adding the brighter colours.
So depending on your length and thickness, pricing varies. We can chat about budget and make the best plan for you. For dark to light transformations, after the first appointment we can better gage how much more work it’ll be. We have to see what your hair will let us do.
Your First Visit
Once you arrive at Hair by Fusion we will chat about any of your questions or concerns. Feel free to hop on the WiFi, relax and enjoy your visit.
While you’re processing, you can be comfortable knowing your hair health is our top priority, as we will keep a close eye on you. While we wait, we’ll record your custom formula and hair history into our computerized database and suggest a hair care routine tailored to your needs.
After a relaxing shampoo, and finishing touches at the bowl, we will head back to the chair where we will cut, blow-dry, and style your fresh colour, where we’ll give you styling tips, show you how to use your products more effectively, and suggestions on how to style your “new-do”.
Once finished, we’ll take a few minutes to snap some pictures to share on social media. (Don’t worry, we’ll never post a picture of you looking anything less than beautiful, and won’t show your face at all if you wish. This part is supposed to be fun, and you should never feel anxious!)
Before you leave, we’ll offer any last minute suggestions regarding your hair care routine, and pre-book your next appointment to keep your hair looking fresh!
